To use this farming method to get Diablo 4 Gems in Season 14, you first need to prepare an Escalating Nightmare Dungeon Sigil.
There are no strict requirements for the type of dungeon. Diablo 4 players can choose any Escalating Nightmare Dungeon to start, and the affixes of the dungeon itself will not affect the last reward.
If a player already owns an Escalating Nightmare Sigil, they can directly enter the dungeon. If they don’t have an Escalating Nightmare Sigil, they can craft one using five regular Nightmare Sigils via Horadric Cube.
Players without a standard Nightmare Sigil can visit The Occultist and create one by spending Sigil Powder. If they don’t even have Sigil Powder, simply hovering their mouse over Sigil Powder in their inventory will display its source in the tooltip.

At this stage, don’t waste time clearing the map or searching for hidden rewards. The only thing Diablo 4 players need to do is quickly move to the end of Floor 2 and check the portal rewards that appear at Floor 3 entrance.

Of course, if the random rewards from the three portals do not include the reward you need, you don’t need to continue challenging the current dungeon. Simply leave the dungeon, reopen another Escalating Nightmare Sigil, and search again.
Formal Farming Phase
In Escalating Nightmare Dungeons mechanic of Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening, once the desired reward affix appears at Floor 3 entrance, you can begin the formal farming.
After entering the corresponding portal, players need to clear the entire Floor 3 map and unlock all chests. Treasure Goblins, The Butcher, and random elite monsters can be killed casually; they provide additional rewards and are not the primary objective.

The most important rule is to leave the final boss alive, as defeating it will interrupt the farming exploit. Killing the boss will disable the exploit. Therefore, players must keep the boss alive after clearing the map and collecting all rewards, and then leave the dungeon via teleportation.

Crafting a Flawless Gem in Season 14 requires approximately 25 million fragments, so theoretically, you can obtain the materials needed for about 1.5 Flawless Gems per hour.
This farming method remains one of the most efficient ways to obtain gem fragments in Season of Death Awakening.
